1901 GOALS

Program goals include:
- By 1995, reduce state facility solid waste sent to landfills by 25 percent, and 50 percent by the year 2000.
- Set a waste prevention and recycling example for other public and private institutions in California.
- Maximize conservation of the state's natural resources.
- Increase state revenues and decrease state facility waste disposal costs.
