3852 EXEMPTION FROM APPROVAL

DGS Transportation Management Unit approval of freight bills is not required for any of the following situations:
- The amount of the freight bill is $500 or less.
- The freight is included in the purchase of goods and the amount of the freight bill matches that listed in the purchase contract issued by the Department of General Services Procurement Division.
- Services performed under a contract, pursuant to the requirements of SAM Section 1200 et seq., specifying the exact rates to be applied for the services.
