Government Code Chapter 7.5 defines three consolidated data centers in state government: 1) the Hawkins Data Center in the Department of Justice, 2) the Stephen P. Teale Data Center (Teale) in the Business Transportation and Housing Agency, and 3) the Health and Human Services Agency Data Center (HHSDC) in the Health and Human Services Agency. Other data processing centers are considered single-agency, dedicated-use data processing centers rather than consolidated data processing centers. All data centers shall adhere to the following center policies.
