6542 BUDGET REVISION FORM, STD. 26
(Revised 2/98)
The STD. 26 is required when any of the following are proposed:
- Policy or program changes are involved.
- The changes require additional funds and an Executive Order is not to be used. An exception to this provision is made in the case of augmentation for capital outlay expenditures approved by the Public Works Board (PWB) or the Director of Finance. The approval of the augmentation by the PWB or the Director of Finance will be used as the basis for the issuance of an EO. The EO will be used by the department as the source document for posting accounting records.
- Funds are to be transferred on SCO records between programs, projects and functions. Generally, capital outlay appropriation adjustments are made by EO.
- It is desired to augment (or reduce) a category or program, with a corresponding increase (or decrease) in an estimated source of funds (reimbursements, etc.).
- The change requires reduction or increases in the unallotted balance of an appropriation.
